I'm making this blog because I think many women need to see pictures like these.

We're surrounded by photographs of women in magazines, in movies and on television who don't represent the average woman. The average woman in the USA is a size 12.

A few weeks ago I was looking through pictures of plus size women online, and at first it was almost a little uncomfortable. Society tells us that unless we're model-perfect we aren't supposed to be seen, supposed to be happy, supposed to feel beautiful or supposed to have love in our lives. However after I spent some time looking at the pictures, I found that I felt happier about myself! Spending some time "normalizing normal" increased my confidence and I hope that by sharing these pictures from online with you that you'll feel better about yourself too.

Whatever your size, wherever you've come from and wherever your going, please know that it's ok to love yourself now!
